Gluttony

Gluttony is a Nolimit City online slot that turns greed into a cartoon feast, and it's exactly the kind of game this studio has built its name on. Played their other releases? You'll recognise the mood in seconds. Loud, a bit grotesque, zero interest in being tasteful. This Gluttony slot review covers how the demo plays, what the numbers actually say, and whether it deserves your time. You can try it free before spending a penny, which is the only sensible way to judge a game like this. Most demo versions need no signup.

Gluttony theme, look and mechanics

Greed and overindulgence, served up as food symbols and a fat, cartoonish gross-out style. It won't suit everyone. That's fine. Nolimit City doesn't design slots to please everyone.

The grid runs on 5 reels with 3125 ways to win. That's a big number, and it shapes how often something lands. More ways means more chances per spin. It doesn't mean bigger payouts on its own. Winning symbols need to connect from the left, as you'd expect from this format.

Nolimit City has a house style. Their games lean on unusual mechanics rather than standard paylines, and Gluttony follows that pattern. Features you'll see named around this game include Scatters, xZone Sauce, Wild Pot, Golden Bell Spins and something called Order Up!, plus a mode tied to FEDCON 1. We can't confirm the exact rules of each from the demo alone, so treat those names as a starting point rather than a full breakdown.

What stands out in play is the pacing. Dead spins happen. Then a feature drops and everything moves at once. That stop-start rhythm is normal for high-volatility Nolimit releases, and it's worth knowing before you commit an evening to it.

Want the groundwork on how these systems work? Our guide to slot RTP and volatility explained is a decent place to start.

RTP, volatility and what to expect

The published RTP is 96.09%. That sits above the 96% mark plenty of players use as a rough benchmark, though only just. RTP describes average return over millions of spins, not what you'll get in a session. A high number here doesn't mean steady wins.

Volatility is high. In practice, that means long dry spells punctuated by bigger hits. Your balance can drop fast if you're not careful. The max win is 32000x your stake, which is the headline figure and the reason a lot of players hunt this game down.

Do the maths. A 32000x max win on a £1 stake is £32,000. On 20p, it's £6,400. Same multiplier, completely different real money. That gap matters more than the number on the box.

High volatility plus a big max win is a familiar combination. It suits players who accept that most sessions won't produce anything dramatic. Want frequent small wins? This isn't your game. Chasing the tail end of the distribution? It might be.

We can't list hit frequency or a release year here, because neither is confirmed. Better to leave a gap than fill it with a guess.

Playing the Gluttony free demo

The demo runs the full game with no real money involved. You get a virtual balance, spin as normal, and features trigger the same way they would in a paid version. Nothing is staked. Nothing is won. It's a testing ground.

Give it 10 to 15 minutes. That's enough to feel the volatility without burning an afternoon. Aim for 20 to 30 spins before you form a view. Fewer than that and you're judging noise, not the game.

Watch how often the base game pays anything. Note how the features behave when they land. Ask yourself whether the dry spells feel tolerable, because that's the real test with a slot like this.

Free demos are how you avoid learning a game with your own money. We keep a stack of them in our free casino games section if you want to compare. Our how we rate games and casinos page explains what we look at when we score a title.

One honest pointer. A good demo session doesn't predict a good paid session. It just tells you whether you enjoy the mechanics.

Should you play Gluttony?

Play it if you like Nolimit City's approach and you're comfortable with high volatility. The 32000x max win and the 3125 ways give it real range, and the theme has personality. It's not a slot for cautious players.

Skip it if you want regular small returns or a gentler pace. The dry spells are real, and they'll wear you down if you're not built for them.

For UK players, licensing matters. We've seen this game under UKGC-licensed operators, which brings GBP deposits and withdrawals, plus tools like GamStop and deposit limits. Those protections only apply at licensed sites, so check before you play. Our best online casinos page lists options, and our responsible gambling tools guide covers the rest.

Try the demo first. If the rhythm suits you, it's a solid pick. If it frustrates you in 15 minutes, it'll frustrate you with real money too.

18+ only. Play responsibly. Demo play uses no real money.
