Hand-vetted brands are graded on a single 0–10 Trust Index built from eight weighted factors. Auto-published brands carry a provisional capped rating based on licence verification and offer terms. Ranking order on this site follows the Trust Index for vetted brands and the provisional cap for auto-published ones — not commercial deals. No operator can pay to raise its rating, change its position or remove a warning. If a casino is unsafe, we say so, regardless of any relationship.

How we make money

Here is the part that matters: commission never changes our rankings, scores or what we write. A paid, clearly labelled featured-partner placement may also put selected brands at the top of some listings; that placement affects order only and never changes a Trust Index score. Outside those placements we rank by the Trust Index alone, we recommend casinos we would use ourselves, and we tell you plainly when a link earns us a commission. If an operator pays well but tests badly, it ranks badly.

The full weighting is published on our how-we-rate page. Auto-published brands do not receive sub-scores or verified payout, RTP and game-count figures.
