Bonus Bunnies

Bonus Bunnies is a Nolimit City slot that swaps the studio's usual darkness for a cartoon rabbit warren, and this Bonus Bunnies slot review covers what the free demo actually plays like in 2026. It's one of the friendlier releases in the catalogue. Nolimit City built its reputation on brutal, high-volatility slots, so a bunny-themed game with medium volatility stands out. The published RTP is 96.14%. You can try it without spending anything at our free casino games page, and demo play needs no account.

Bonus Bunnies theme, look and mechanics

The theme is simple. Bunnies, carrots, a garden. Bright and playful, a long way from the grim aesthetic the studio uses on titles like San Quentin or Tombstone. That contrast is the point. If you've avoided Nolimit City because its games feel punishing, this one plays a different tune.

The layout is 4 reels, which is unusual. Most slots from this provider use 5 or 6. A smaller grid usually means fewer ways to win, so wins tend to come from stacked symbols and features rather than sheer volume of paylines. Our sources don't list the exact ways-to-win count, so we won't guess at one.

What the ranking pages do agree on is the feature set. Carrot Link and Link Spins are the headline mechanics, and there's a bonus buy option. Free spins are part of the package too, triggered by bonus symbols landing on the reels. Between features, the base game does the heavy lifting. That's typical for this studio. Nolimit City tends to build slots where the base game keeps you ticking over and the bonus round delivers the real money.

We tested the demo across a few sessions. What stood out is how readable the grid is. Four reels means you can track every symbol without squinting, and that makes the link mechanics easier to follow than on a six-reel monster. For a studio known for complexity, this is refreshingly clear.

RTP, volatility and what to expect

The published RTP is 96.14%, which sits above the 96% mark most players use as a benchmark. Good number. Over a very long run, it means the game returns about £96.14 for every £100 staked. Short sessions won't feel like that, of course. RTP is an average across millions of spins, not a promise for your next 20 minutes.

Volatility is medium. That's the middle ground between low-volatility slots that pay small and often, and high-volatility ones that can go quiet for long stretches before a big hit. Medium volatility suits players who want a bit of both. You'll see regular smaller wins, and the bonus features can still produce something meaningful.

The max win is 6,950x your stake. Solid ceiling, though modest next to the 100,000x-plus wins some Nolimit City titles advertise. If you're chasing a life-changing multiplier, this isn't the game for that. If you want a fair shot at a few hundred times your stake without endless dead spins, medium volatility and a 6,950x cap is a reasonable trade.

Our slot RTP and volatility explained guide breaks down how these numbers affect your session if you want the longer version.

Playing the Bonus Bunnies free demo

The demo is the smartest way to try this game. It runs on the same engine as the real-money version, so the RTP, volatility, and features all behave identically. The only difference is that the balance isn't real. You can spin, trigger Carrot Link, and test the bonus buy without risking a penny.

Give it 10 to 15 minutes. That's enough for roughly 20 to 30 spins at a normal pace, which is the minimum you need before judging a slot. Ten spins tells you nothing. Variance needs room to breathe, and medium-volatility games can look flat for a while before a feature lands.

Two honest pointers. First, don't judge the game on whether the bonus triggers early. It might not in 30 spins, and that's normal. Second, watch how the base game feels, not just the features. If the base game bores you, the bonus round won't fix that.

When you move to real money, stick to licensed sites in your jurisdiction and check the terms before you deposit. We explain our testing standards in how we rate games and casinos.

Should you play Bonus Bunnies?

Play it if you want a Nolimit City slot without the brutality. Medium volatility, a 96.14% RTP, and a 6,950x max win make it a sensible pick for players who like regular smaller wins and the occasional bigger hit. The bunny theme is light, the 4-reel grid is easy to read, and the Carrot Link and Link Spins features give the bonus round some bite.

Skip it if you're a high-volatility hunter. A 6,950x ceiling won't satisfy anyone chasing six-figure multipliers, and the cartoon look will put off players who want the studio's darker output. Skip it too if you need a big ways-to-win count, since four reels limits that by design.

For everyone else, the demo is free and takes a quarter of an hour. Try it, run 30 spins, and see whether the base game holds your attention. That's the real test. If it does, you've found a solid mid-volatility slot from a studio that usually plays much harder.
